Lightbox Image Viewer 2.0 expands upon Lightbox Image Viewer with a few new features. While the original version is great for viewing images individually on the page, Lightbox 2.0 supports a new "grouping" feature that lets you group related images on the page for easy browsing amongst them. The transitional effect for bringing up an image also differs from the original. And like before, this JavaScript supports optional caption display, plus incremental preloading of the next image when images are grouped. Very nice!

In this JavaScript, when you move or click on an image, the image size will decrease gradually (i.e the image will zoom out) and will finally disappear.

This script combines PHP with JavaScript to let you easily display all pictures within a directory without having to input their file names into the script! An external PHP file takes care of all the manual labour, by retrieving the list of images inside the directory and passing it onto the viewer script. Even the select menu used to choose the image to display is automatically generated. And last but not least, in IE and Firefox, a fade effect is applied each time an image is shown. Spiffy!To use this script, your server simply has to support PHP, as this script references an external PHP file to get the images of the containing directory. The page that will show the pictures itself does NOT have to be a PHP page.

This JavaScript is intended for forms where the user needs to upload an image to a Web site. The image is displayed on the page for previewing before uploading. The display will be resized if needed so as not to break the page layout. Valid file types are set in the script; others will be disallowed. Works only in Internet Explorer but degrades gracefully.
