Here
we have prepared a long list for JavaScript effects. It include effects
like photo gallery, social network, making graphical plots, creating
tool tips and so on. If you are a web developers, you will not miss this
list. You may get some inspiration from them. Now let's start.
BetterTip
BetterTip is a plugin for the jQuery library that allows you to create custom tool tips.
Carousel Component
The Carousel component manages a list of content (HTML LI elements
within a UL) that can be displayed horizontally or vertically. The
content can be scrolled back and forth with or without animation.
This DHTML-driven browser-based app provides viewing of photos sorted by collection.
Animated Collapsible DIV v2.4
This script collapses any DIV on the page and lets users manually
toggle its appearance via a smooth "Web 2.0 style" animation. It's a
popular JavaScript effect on many social networking / comment sites.
Flot
Flot is a pure JavaScript plotting library for jQuery. It produces
graphical plots of arbitrary datasets on-the-fly client-side.
Galleria
Galleria is a JavaScript image gallery framework built on top of the
jQuery library. The aim is to simplify the process of creating
professional image galleries for the web and mobile devices.
CoolTips
CoolTips is a lightweight unobtrusive JavaScript web-browser tooltips replacement technique.
corner.js
corner.js 2.1 allows you to add corners (and also shading and shadow)
to images on your webpages (alternatively: glossy.js). It uses
unobtrusive javascript to keep your code clean.
CurvyCorners
A free JavaScript library for creating gorgeous rounded corners for
HTML block elements i.e. DIVs. Supports anti-aliasing, borders and
background images.
dTree
dTree is a free JavaScript tree menu.
E2 Photo Gallery
Create multiple galleries for your photos to organize and present your photographs/videos.
jGlideMenu
jGlideMenu is an updated version of the fastFind Menu that supports
inline and AJAX Navigation Menu definitions and uses an easier syntax than the
original version.
GlassBox
GlassBox is a lightweight JavaScript User Interface (UI) library,
which use Prototype and Script.aculo.us for some effects. GlassBox lets
you easily build lucent borders, colorful layouts and "Flash-like"
effects.
Glossy.js 1.8 allows you to add corners and shading and shadow to images on your webpages (alternatively: corner.js).
Highslide JS
Highslide JS is an image, media and gallery viewer written in JavaScript.
iCarousel
iCarousel is an open source (free) JavaScript tool for creating carousel like widgets.
Ingrid
Ingrid is an unobtrusive jQuery component that adds datagrid
behaviors (column resizing, paging, sorting, row and column styling, and
more) to your tables.
jQuery Portlets
Based on AJAX, this small widget allows to integrate many many bookmarks for every post on your blog, website etc.
jScrollPane
jScrollPane is a cross-browser jQuery plugin by Kelvin Luck which
converts a browser's default scrollbars (on elements with a relevant
overflow property) into an HTML structure which can be easily skinned
with CSS.
jGrow
jGrow is a jQuery plug-in that makes the textarea adjust its size according to the length of the text.

Mobile Tooltip Widget for GWT
It is a mod version of the tooltip widget which supports mouse movement event.
jsTree
jsTree is a javascript based, cross browser tree component.
Lytebox
Its purpose was to write a self-contained object that eliminated the
dependency of prototype.js, effects.js, and scriptaculous.js.
Milkbox
It will be based on mootools 1.3, and it will have new features like
object gallery definition, flashvars, html files, and more!!!
Pagination
When you have a a large list of items (e.g. search results or news
articles), you can display them grouped in pages and present
navigational elements to move from one page to another. This plugin creates these navigational elements.
Plotkit
PlotKit is a Chart and Graph Plotting Library for Javascript. It has
support for HTML Canvas and also SVG via Adobe SVG Viewer and native
browser support.
mooSocialize
Based on ajax, this small widget allows to integrate many many bookmarks for every post on your blog, website etc.
MooWheel
MooWheel created a circular data visualization allowing a user to
easily and clearly show the connections between elements in a group.
Nifty Corners Cube
Nifty Corners are a solution based on CSS and Javascript to get rounded corners without images.

Prototip
Prototip allows you to easily create both simple and complex tooltips using the Prototype javascript framework.
Prototype UI
Prototype UI is a javascript library based on Prototype (1.6) and
Script.aculo.us (1.8). It's a library of User Interface components,
based on a common fundation classes, which could be easily used by
various web applications.
prettyCheckboxes
This jQuery plugin is for people who wants to have a consistent look for
checkboxes across browser or those who simply want them to look better.
By using this script you wont loose any of the regular inputs usability.
prettyPhoto
prettyPhoto is a jQuery lightbox clone. Not only does it support
images, it also support for videos, flash, YouTube, iframes. It's a full
blown media lightbox.
Slider Gallery
It is one of the new web development tools for the Mac – and it's
popular amongst designers and developers I know. Panic (the developers
of Coda) are also known for their sharp design.

SmoothGallery
Unlike other systems out there, JonDesign's SmoothGallery is designed
from the ground up to be standard compliant: You can feed it from any
document, using custom css selectors. And even better, this solutions is
very lightweight: The javascript file is only 24kb.
Reflex
Reflex.js 1.5 allows you to add a Cover Flow effect (including
reflection) to images on your webpages. *Cover Flow is a trademark of
Apple Inc.
Sexy Sliding Menu for script.aculo.us
It is a sliding menu using script.aculo.us.
simplyScroll
simplyScroll is a jQuery plugin that can animate (scroll) a set of
elements either automatically or manually, horizontally or vertically.
It can also accept dynamic image input via a Flickr feed (note not full
API integration) or a local JSON source.
The YUI TreeView Control provides a rich, compact visual presentation of hierarchical node data.
TripTracker
The TripTracker slideshow is a lightweight JavaScript image viewer with an animated slideshow feature.
